In this episode, Cooper and Mary discuss how traditional leadership
qualities from the '50s have evolved and transformed over the
decades, especially during these past two years of working from
home.
We discuss why certain behaviors are dead and should stay
buried and which leadership traits have replaced them. Reflecting
back on how society and corporate cultures view traditional
leaders, traits such as confidence, decisive, risk-taking,
competitive, and assertive, are attributed as masculine. While
traits such as empathy, patience, and intuition are typically seen
as secondary leadership traits and more feminine in nature.
So is traditional leadership dead? Or should we redefine what
it means?
Cooper and Mary discuss four leadership traits that are needed
in our current work environment to make you an outstanding and
fearless leader.
