In this episode, we talk with Inez Ribustello, a mother, wife,
author, entrepreneur, and wine and beer lover. Inez got her start
in the world of food and wine after moving to New York City from
her home state of North Carolina. Her wine career took a huge leap
forward when she became an Assistant Cellar Master at Windows on
the World in One World Trade Center. On September 11th,
Inez lost her work family, and in the aftermath of the 9/11
tragedy, Inez made the decision to move back to her hometown.
With her fiancee (now husband), they opened a wine bar and retail
store and would go on to open the microbrewery, Tarboro Brewing
Company, in 2016. Recently, Inez self-published her memoir, “Life
After Windows,” chronicling her journey from North Carolina to
Manhattan and the personal events of 9/11.
During our conversation, Inez shares with us her FEARLESS moments,
her journey as an entrepreneur, and her resilience in knowing when
to pivot and when to ask for help. You’ll be touched by her
incredible story and take to heart her sage advice to surround
yourself with those that feed your soul - and help us all become a
little bit more fearless.
